Remembering in prayer

Here at Prayer for Children we are all deeply sadened at the deaths of 20 little children and 6 adults, who lost their lives at a school in Newtown, Connecticut.  The loss of a child affects everyone, the immediate family and also the wider community.  We are all united in grief and in prayer.

Let us light a candle in memory of all these little children

 

 

In God alone be at rest, my soul;

for my hope comes from him.

He alone is my rock, my stronghold,

my fortress; I stand firm.

 

Take refuge in God all you people.

Trust him at all times.

Pour out your hearts before him

for God is our refuge.

 

Ps. 61:6-7,9.

 

 

Let us remember all the families, friends and children affected by this awful tragedy.
