This Saturday there will be a singathon in the local shopping centre, Scotch Hall. It is being organised by local musician Joanne Kieran and promises to be a great day. The event commences at 10.00 a.m. and will end at 5.00 p.m. The proceeds will go the new youth centre and cafe on Fair Street, Drogheda.
The cafe will be built in the old library and will be called Boomerang. Joanne has asked lots of the local teenagers to come along and sing and she has got a good response so far. For all you local viewers do pop along and support this worthwhile event.
Its great to see young people being catered for. The youth of today have so much goodness in them and do a lot of unseen good things. Well done to all concerned.
One of the team met a man at the weekend who told her his sad story of how he was separated from his wife and 4 children and can no longer have access to his children. He feels that God is testing him in his faith and finds the cross of separation hard to cope with. Please remember this man and his family in your prayers. God bless.
